Zplendi

Terms of Service

Effective 22 September 2026

1. Agreement

By using Zplendi, you agree to these terms.

2. What the app does — and doesn't do

Zplendi helps you track personal spending, income, budgets, accounts, and investments, and lets you split a single expense across more than one of your own accounts. Zplendi is not a bank, a payment processor, or a financial institution — it never moves money, never connects directly to a bank account, and every figure it shows (balances, budgets, investment values) is calculated from what you enter, not verified against any external source.

3. No account required

Zplendi has no sign-up or account system for its core features. All your data — transactions, budgets, categories, accounts, investments — lives only on your device by default. The only optional sign-in is for cloud backup (Google on Android, iCloud on iOS, see the Privacy Policy) — without it, uninstalling the app or clearing its storage permanently deletes your data, because we never had a copy of it.

4. Free trial and Zplendi Lifetime

Zplendi offers a free trial period with full access to every feature. After the trial, continued full access — including cloud backup — requires Zplendi Lifetime, a one-time, non-recurring purchase made through the Apple App Store or Google Play; it is never a subscription and never renews or re-charges you. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms, and refunds requested through them follow their own respective policies. Separately, if you contact us directly within 7 days of purchase, we'll honor a refund request with no questions asked. Use "Restore Purchase" in Settings to re-link an existing purchase after reinstalling or switching devices.

5. Accuracy of your data

Budgets, balances, spending totals, and investment calculations are only as accurate as what you enter and are provided for personal tracking purposes only — they are not financial, investment, or tax advice, and should not be relied on as such. Receipt scanning uses on-device text recognition to pre-fill a transaction, but every scanned field is meant to be reviewed and corrected by you before saving, not trusted blindly.

6. Cloud backup responsibility

If you enable cloud backup, your data is written to your own Google Drive or iCloud storage and is subject to that storage's own quota and terms — Zplendi has no control over, and is not responsible for, your Drive or iCloud account itself, its available space, or Google's / Apple's handling of it.

7. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or circumvent the app's purchase or licensing mechanisms.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Zplendi is provided "as is," as a personal tracking tool. We work to keep calculations correct and the app reliable, but we're not liable for financial decisions made based on the app's figures, data loss from an uninstall without cloud backup enabled, or issues arising from your own Drive/iCloud account.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify you in-app.
